This project involved the construction of a substantial extension to the existing Huntly IGA, increasing the building’s footprint and providing additional space to support the growing needs of the supermarket.

The works included new structural framing, external brickwork and cladding, roofing, windows and associated building services, together with the construction of a new two-storey component integrated into the existing building.

A key focus throughout the project was carefully coordinating the new works with the existing supermarket, allowing the business to continue operating while construction progressed. The completed extension has been designed to complement the original building while providing a practical, durable addition that supports the ongoing growth of the Huntly IGA.
