This purpose-built nunnery accommodation was constructed within the bushland setting of the Great Stupa precinct near Bendigo. The project involved the delivery of multiple new buildings designed to provide comfortable, practical and peaceful living spaces while complementing the surrounding environment and existing architecture.

The buildings incorporate generous communal areas, private accommodation, modern kitchens and amenities, with warm timber flooring and simple, durable finishes throughout. Externally, pitched Colorbond roofs, deep eaves, timber posts and earthy tones create a strong connection with the natural landscape.

Careful planning and construction were required to deliver a functional residential facility within the unique bushland site, resulting in a welcoming and low-maintenance development designed to serve the community for years to come.
